What is it?
Cold laser therapy uses low-level light directed at a painful or injured area. The treatment is non-invasive and is intended to support the body's tissue-healing processes without heat, needles or medication.
What conditions can be treated?
- Painful or irritated muscles and tendons
- Joint pain and stiffness
- Selected sprains and strains
- Slow-healing soft-tissue injuries
- Pain that is limiting comfortable movement or exercise
Is it painful?
No. Most people feel little or nothing during treatment. The light does not cut, burn or create the heat associated with surgical lasers.
