What is it?

Very fine needles are inserted through the skin and into deep tissues that are trigger points of pain.

What conditions can be treated?

Neck, back and shoulder pain
Arm pain, including tennis elbow, carpal tunnel and golfer's elbow
Migraines and tension-type headaches
Jaw and buttock pain
Leg pain, including sciatica, hamstring strains and calf tightness or spasms

Is it painful?

At times, you may feel a brief muscle twitch. This is normal, lasts only a moment and is often a useful response.

No. PT&SR uses specialized techniques as part of a complete one-on-one plan that may include hands-on care, exercise, education and home guidance.

How many visits will I need?
